Description
The Pilot Records and Aviation Training Technician is responsible for ensuring all Life Flight Network pilot records are recorded and maintained in compliance with FAA regulations, Pilot Records Database (PRD) requirements, Department of Transportation (DOT) governing policies, and company policies & procedures. QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE * High school degree or equivalent required  * Minimum 3 years of record keeping and/or equivalent administrative experience, preferably in the aviation industry * Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on regulatory and legal compliance * Excellent organizational and time management skills  * Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis in Word and Excel  * Outstanding written and verbal communication skills and an ability to communicate clearly and concisely * Ability to work in fast paced environment * Demonstrated ability to organize and work independently or with a team ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Responsible for maintaining pilot records in accordance with FAA regulations and company specific policies and procedures  * Screen pilot records to ensure compliance  * Daily entry of pilot records * Perform periodic and scheduled record audits for completeness and accuracy * Assist with pilot training scheduling  * Schedule pilot training at approved training centers * Assign classrooms for all aviation training * Assign Computer Based Training (CBT)  * Prepare class and study materials  * Prepare reports and obtain data as requested * Process purchase orders * Perform administrative duties as required BENEFITS * LFN offers competitive compensation above industry standard * Medical * Dental * Vision * Life/AD&D (Company pays for employee 100%) * Short & long term disability (Company pays for employee 100%) * 401k – with 100% vested employer contribution  * Multilingual Stipend * Tenure bonuses * Adoption assistance * Paid parental time off * Bereavement leave (including pets) * Tuition/Training reimbursement * Paid volunteer time * Employee Recognition Awards * A generous paid time off plan starting at almost 4 weeks a year for full time employees * Wellness Reimbursement Program * Life Flight Network Membership All candidates are subject to drug screening and background investigation.  Life Flight Network is an equal opportunity employer.
