Description VETERANS ARE ENCOURAGED TO APPLY Lonestar Electric Industrial Supply and its subsidiaries are looking for a Pipe Associate who will work with a dynamic team of individuals to perform various tasks related to fulfilling pipe orders, packaging, stocking, loading, unloading, and ensuring the general organization and safety of the pipe yard and associated areas within the warehouse. The ideal candidate will be dependable, prompt, reliable, and engaged. They will also drive and promote our passion to MAKE IT HAPPEN! Responsibilities: Receive, verify, and stock various types of conduits and piping used in the electrical industry. Review orders, pull requested pipe, examine for accuracy, and prepare for transport. Provide loading and unloading support as needed. Update databases timely and provide accurate inventory counts as requested. Follow processes and procedures as instructed by your Lead or Pipe Yard Supervisor. Help maintain a clean and organized working environment in the pipe yard. Follow established safety guidelines and proper protocols. Provide excellent customer service to our internal and external partners, customers, logistics professionals, vendors, and employees. Proactive communication to management regarding issues and concerns. Other tasks as assigned by leadership. Requirements: Ability to operate various types of material handling equipment including forklifts, hand trucks, and pipe handling machinery. Strong reading and communication skills. Epicor Eclipse ERP experience preferred. Physical Requirements: May be required to move up to 50 lbs. Regularly works around moving mechanical parts and in warehouse or yard conditions that are not always climate controlled and may include heat and humidity. Noise level may be loud at times. Must be able to move objects and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue. Constant movement and use of limbs; this position requires good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina.
