Trade-Mark Industrial is a family-owned electrical and mechanical contracting company with our head office located in Cambridge, Ontario. Due to our continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Pipe Fabrication Project Manager to work within our team.
Projects vary from new build, process modifications, and maintenance projects in the I.C.I. and power sectors with a primary focus on industrial projects.

JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the Piping Manager, the Pipe Fabrication Project Manager will be responsible for the complete life-cycle of pipe fabrication including sales, estimating, regulatory requirements, execution, and project close-out. Key focuses will be on safety, quality, budget, scheduling, resource assignment, and change order management.
The candidate should have a focus on long-term growth within our company.
Responsibilities may include:
- Promote a safety-first culture for a zero-injury work place
- QA/QC oversight as per customer and regulatory requirements
- Completion of pipe fabrication specific RFPs and new client questionnaires
- Manage customer relations for all pipe fabrication projects
- Manage production schedule and resources to ensure all client deliverables are met
- Business development research of upcoming pipe sector projects and opportunities
- Prepare detailed labour and material take-offs
- Develop short-term and long-term business plans
- Full accountability of pipe shop P&L reports
- Awareness of technology improvements to further production strengths
- Development of PQR and WPS to meet specification compliance, or to better production output.
- Submitting and reviewing pricing packages to suppliers, distributors & sub-contractors.
- Manage tender closing activities with duties including: create a lead letter outlining our inclusions / exclusions for a tender, review all bills of material for job closings, final cost preparation and submission of bids
- Communicate with customers and suppliers during the tender period.
- Upon award of contracts, selecting compliant vendors and subcontractors for the purpose of issuing purchase orders
- Creating a progress draw schedule, reviewing the project details and effective turn-over to pipe shop supervisor
- Ensure work is completed as per TSSA Certificate of Authorizations
- Document filing to TSSA for code related work
- Sales, customer contact, and follow-up after completion of work.
- Employee and customer retention and relationship building.
- Attend safety, training, sales, strategy and other meetings as required.
- Other duties as warranted.
Recommended Qualifications:
- 10 years piping industry experience.
- 5 years of relevant pipe fabrication experience
- Financial understanding to manage pipe shop performance
- Strong knowledge of B31.1, B31.3, B51 and other piping codes
- Licensed Steamfitter or mechanical engineering background would be an asset, but not mandatory.
- Good communication and organizational skills will be essential.
- Experience with MS Office products and 3D models
- The ability to read and understand mechanical drawings, P&IDs, project specifications
- G Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $120,000.00-$140,000.00 per year
