Job Title:  Pipe Fitter- Shop Based  Day & Night Shift Available Overview: Apache Workforce is seeking experienced Pipe Fitters to support the layout, assembly, and installation of industrial piping systems for manufacturing and production environments. This role focuses on fitting, aligning, and preparing piping systems used in industrial operations. Pipe Fitters are responsible for ensuring accurate installation, proper material selection, and safe assembly of piping components in accordance with technical specifications. What You’ll Be Doing: Pipe Fitters are responsible for: Laying out, assembling, and installing industrial piping systems Selecting appropriate pipe types, sizes, and support materials based on specifications Cutting, threading, bending, and fitting pipe using hand and power tools Installing steel, stainless steel, and non-metal piping systems Reading and interpreting blueprints, P&IDs, and technical drawings Assisting with alignment and system fit-up prior to welding or final assembly Supporting material handling, staging, and coordination with warehouse teams Tracking and organizing materials to support production flow Maintaining clean, organized work areas following safety and 5S standards Following OSHA and company safety procedures at all times What We’re Looking For: 5+ years of pipe fitting experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and piping diagrams Strong knowledge of pipe materials, fittings, and installation techniques Experience using hand tools, power tools, and pipe fitting equipment Strong mechanical aptitude and measurement skills Basic understanding of welding processes (MIG experience preferred) Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship Ability to work independently or as part of a fabrication team Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal) Preferred Qualifications: Technical training or certification in pipe fitting or related trade Experience with lean manufacturing or 5S environments Forklift or crane operation experience or certification Experience with automated or advanced piping systems Work Environment: Work is performed in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment and may include: Standing, bending, and physical movement for extended periods Lifting materials up to 50 lbs regularly Exposure to heat, cold, noise, and non-climate-controlled conditions Use of full PPE including safety glasses and steel-toe boots Work in varying production environments depending on assignment Shifts up to 10 hours per day, up to 6 days per week What We Offer: Competitive pay based on experience Weekly pay Access to multiple industrial piping opportunities Long-term placement potential Career growth in skilled trades Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance options 401(k) retirement plan Paid time off for eligible employees Safe, team-oriented work environment Pay Range: $20.00 – $30.00/hr (based on experience, skill level, and assignment) Equal Opportunity Employer Apache Workforce is an equal opportunity employer and connects qualified candidates with employment opportunities regardless of background.
