About the Role

West Coast Engineering & Welding is seeking experienced Pipefitters to join our team. If you have strong experience in industrial piping systems, can read and interpret drawings, and take pride in delivering quality work safely and efficiently, we'd like to hear from you.

You will be involved in site-based activities supporting a range of structural, mechanical and piping (SMP) projects across the industrial sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fabrication, assembly and installation of piping systems and associated components
  • Reading and interpreting piping drawings, isometrics and specifications
  • Measuring, cutting, preparing and fitting pipework to required tolerances
  • Installing valves, flanges, supports and mechanical equipment
  • Assisting with pressure testing, commissioning and maintenance activities
  • Performing shutdown, maintenance and project works on client sites
  • Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
  • Maintaining tools, equipment and housekeeping within work areas
  • Working collaboratively with supervisors, tradespeople and project teams
