We are looking for skilled and experienced pipe fitters to join our customer’s long-term shipbuilding project at the Wismar shipyard in Germany. This opportunity offers a stable workload in a professional environment with competitive pay and reliable working hours.
As a pipe fitter, your role will involve the installation of various piping systems on new build vessels, including fresh water (FW), grey water (GW), Hi-Fog fire suppression systems, and drain pipes. You must be capable of reading technical drawings and be experienced in ship piping installation.
The project is set to last between 5 to 8 months, starting immediately. Work rotation is typically 6 to 8 weeks on, followed by 2 to 3 weeks off, although alternative arrangements may be considered. Weekly working hours range from 58 to 60, ensuring consistent income.
Accommodation is provided (2 persons per room) within a 10 km radius of the shipyard. Workers must arrange their own transport to the yard, and compensation for fuel will be discussed. Travel compensation is also negotiable. All necessary tools and workwear will be supplied.
