As a Pipe Layer with our Sewer/Water Construction Division, your primary responsibilities will be assembling, connecting and constructing pipe systems for storm, sanitary sewer, drains and water mains.

Other Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Cutting pipes to required lengths
• Assisting in alignment of pipe during pipe construction
• Checking slopes for conformance to requirements, using levels and pipe lasers
• Connecting pipe pieces and sealing joints
• Grading and leveling trench bases by shoveling dirt and rock
• Safely rigging of pipe to be lowered into trench
• Working inside of trench boxes during pipe installation
• Installation and grouting of manholes
• Ability to do general labor as necessary
