Job Details Level: Management Job Location: Everett Ship Repair LLC - Everett, WA 98201 Position Type: Full Time Education Level: High School Salary Range: $39.90 - $47.69 Hourly Travel Percentage: Negligible Job Shift: Day Job Category: Management Position Summary: The Marine Pipefitter Supervisor is responsible for leading and overseeing all pipefitting activities within the shipyard. This includes managing production goals, updating project schedules, and developing the skills and performance of pipefitting personnel, including Foremen, Lead, Journeymen, and Apprentices. The Supervisor will ensure compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and project deadlines, serving as a critical link between management and production teams. This position requires working in both indoor and outdoor environments in varying weather conditions. The employee may be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, loud noise, and moving mechanical parts. Physical activity may include climbing, lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Key Responsibilities: Direct, supervise, and support pipefitting teams to meet production and schedule goals. Coordinate manpower and scheduling with Project Managers, Master Schedulers, and other Supervisors. Implement and manage performance management systems, including employee evaluations and progressive discipline. Provide daily direction to Foremen and Lead while ensuring technical excellence and compliance with drawings and specifications. Audit and assist with apprenticeship testing and training initiatives. Ensure a safe work environment through collaboration with the Safety Manager; enforce safety procedures and provide relevant training. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues; escalate challenges when necessary. Facilitate team communication and act as a liaison between the workforce and upper management. Maintain documentation, timekeeping, and reports as required. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Journeyman-level Pipefitter certification or equivalent experience. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Foreman, Lead, or Supervisor in marine or industrial pipefitting environments. Experience with Microsoft Project and familiarity with reading/creating schedules. Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications: Formal supervisory training or certification. Experience with ABS, USCG, NAVSEA Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with shipbuilding standards and marine systems installation.
