Job Description Delivery of piping stress and flexibility analysis Works with Hexagon Pipe stress software Key Duties and Responsibilities: Assigned by the Pipe Stress Lead Engineer Co-ordinate with piping expert designers Manages their own workload Master project methodology, procedures, codes (EN 13480) and standards Experience in checking A3 piping isos drawings and associated MTOs Ensure QC for compliance with nuclear projects Perform technical review of design deliverables produced by colleagues in line with quality procedures Makes use of 3D models (Navisworks) Liaise with other engineers and CAD designers (HVAC & Support) when required Qualifications Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent Experienced in piping analysis with Hexagon Pipe stress software Skilled in piping design, supply, (pre)fabrication, erection and tests Additional Information 5 years + on piping engineering calculations Knowledge of piping European code (EN13480) and experience in nuclear industry Proactive, rigorous and well organized

Responsibilities

The Pipe Stress Engineer is responsible for the delivery of piping stress and flexibility analysis, coordinating with piping expert designers, and managing their own workload. They will ensure compliance with nuclear project quality control and perform technical reviews of design deliverables.
