Graywolf is a heavy industrial/commercial construction contractor that provides end-to-end solutions from design, fabrication, construction, and facility management with a footprint that is nationwide.   With more than 45-years of experience in the industry, we have strong leadership and support teams who understand field servant leadership is the key to our success.  We are continually BUILDING new talent while developing our current talent.   As our assignments vary in duration and locations, we provide a safe and ethical environment and offer a competitive wage and benefit program.  We strive to be the best contractor with demonstrating a culture of Safety, Quality and Performance to deliver the best completed projects to our customers.     Position Overview: The Pipe Superintendent oversees and directs the performance of field construction activities for assigned craft, conforming to plans, specifications, schedules and cost estimates.   Essential Duties: * Plan and direct the work activities within assigned construction crafts in alignment with available engineering deliverables, tools, construction equipment and materials; coordinating with other crafts as necessary * Approve or authorize the coordination of craft personnel, material and equipment needed to meet schedules * Directly support project and construction management with planning and utilization of proper means and methods for all construction activities * Analyze situations, identify and forecast pertinent problems and evaluate realistic options. Recommend/ Implement appropriate course of action * Assures all work undertaken is within approved scope boundaries and is compliant with all pertinent requirements * Provides an environment for the development and advancement of project personnel, including providing on-the-job and formal training and development opportunities * Craft certification, training, experience and technical knowledge appropriate for assignment scope. * Work within company policies (including Safety and Human Resources policies), client policy and OSHA safety requirements. * Ability to learn and apply knowledge of local, state and federal statutes and guidelines * Miscellaneous duties as directed   Qualifications: * 10 years Pipe experience, with a minimum of 5 years as Journeyman * NCCER plus Pipe Fitter certification preferred * Completion of pre-hire and post-hire substance abuse testing as required by company and/or client. * Completion of Safety related certifications such as OSHA 10 or Safety council programs as required by company and/or client. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Must be computer literate and able to utilize Microsoft Office applications * Attention to detail and accuracy are essential * Travel is required   Physical/Site Requirements: * Lift and carry heavy items weighing up to 45 pounds. * Move in and around confined and cluttered places, and uneven areas. Full range of motion and flexibility consistent with age. * Work up to a 12-hour shift in varying temperature extremes and other outside conditions. * Climb and maintain balance on steel framework, stairs, ladders, and scaffolds.   Graywolf Integrated Construction Company is an equal opportunity employer.
