We are a growing and dynamic company to work with providing you with the key to your future success. We are currently looking for experienced Journeyman Pipefitters for day and night shift to work shutdown in Fort McMurray. Alberta. RESPONSIBILITIES Comply with Company and Client Safety rules, as well as OH&S standards • Select type of pipe, size of pipe, and systems by applying knowledge of system operation and following blueprints • Construct support hangers and hydraulic cylinders according to specifications • Utilize pipe bending tools or machines to bend pipe • Perform pressure tests by increasing pressure in pipe systems and observing pressure gauges to test for leaks • Ensure that holes cut in pipe will not cause structural weakness • Connect pipe utilizing threaded, caulked, soldered, brazed, or fused joints and hand tools • Install and maintain pneumatic and hydraulic components of machines and equipment, such as pumps and cylinders • Cut pipe utilizing saws, pipe cutting machines, cutting torch, etc. • Secure pipe with brackets, clamps, and hangars • Attend required safety and tailgate/toolbox meetings • May perform other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS • Must be an Alberta ticketed journeyman (or hold a journeyman certificate recognized by AIT) • CSTS-09 and/or CSO • H2S considered an asset • Able to work well in a team environment • Must be physically able to lift 50lbs and climb in/under units in the field • Organized and self-motivated • Pre-employment alcohol and drug testing is a condition of employment Other Details Day & Night Shift 21 days 12 Hours Location: Fort McMurray Camp Provided Travel to Edmonton or Calgary provided
