Position: Leads and Apprentice Pipefitters – Turnaround (Red Water)

Project Details:

  • Location: Red Water
  • Start Date: June 18, 2025
  • Duration: 2 weeks straight through - potentially longer
  • 12 hours shifts (Days and Nights)
  • 1 hour travel per day
  • LOA for Supervision

Qualifications & Education:

  • Journeyman Certificate or registered Apprentice
  • Relevant experience in the Oil & Gas industry
  • Required certifications: H2S Alive, CSTS or CSO, WHMIS 2015
  • Preferred certifications: Elevated Work Platform (EWP), First Aid, Fall Protection, Confined Space
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
  • Successful completion of Pre-Access Drug & Alcohol testing

Skills, Attributes, and Responsibilities:

  • Ability to read and interpret Isometric Drawings
  • Expertise in piping systems, including measuring, cutting, threading, grooving, bolt-ups, torquing, and bending
  • Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment in complex decision-making
  • Effective communication skills and a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
  • Ensure all work meets Canoco’s safety protocols and client-specific requirements
  • Take initiative in contributing to training and mentorship opportunities within the Pipefitter role
