The REGEHR Civil Pipelayer is responsible for communication with the Foreman / superintendent to ensure efficient and accurate pipe installation.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years’ experience in a civil pipe layer position
  • Experience working in other aspects of the civil construction industry is considered an asset
  • Willingness to assist crew with day-to-day activities that may not be pipe installation related
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Valid Driver’s License

Responsibilities

Your duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Install Storm, Sanitary, Water and Hydro/Tel to proposed grade.
  • Set Catch Basins and Manholes to proposed grade.
  • Have moderate abilities to read drawings.
  • Must be able to properly co-ordinate with site foreman on days tasks/approach.
  • Monitor granular back-fill and ensure pipe maintains position.
  • Monitor and ensure all safety risks are removed from the excavation.
