This role will cover a critical period for EPR-E: finish off the rework of the piping design after HO1 for HPC project by focusing the team on the resolution of HPC post handover open points, managing the issuance of the final piping calculation documentation, develop a pipeline of competence to feed JDO needs, and develop the competence within the team in preparation for the SZC activities in line with the UK localisation strategy.

As a Piping Calculation Group Leader, you will:

  • Work alongside Building Managers and MEH deputy to ensure that the required calculations delivery is performed in accordance with the relevant processes;

  • Development of competencies within the team considering future activities;
  • Closely working with upstream and downstream designers to ensure overall efficient delivery of EPRE scope;
  • Build effective relationships with the Client and Execution design to support through the next stages of the project;
  • Develop the competencies within the team to reflect this change of activity. Particular emphasis will be placed on change control, configuration management, and understanding the consequences of change on interfacing designs, and downstream activities (i.e. manufacturing, site activities, etc);
  • Ensure that piping calculation methods are well understood and applied within EPRE, JDO and SZC teams, and that technical lessons learned are shared widely.
