TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Technical Diploma/Degree in Civil, Mechanics or Environment and Energy Engineering.
  • Good knowledge of technical design and concepts related to the design of thermotechnical plants, fluid-powered machines, constructions
  • Good knowledge of 2D and 3D design programs
  • Basic knowledge of international standards (e. g. ISO), directives (e. g. PED), design codes (e. g. ASME B31, EN 13480 etc), company design std (e. g. Sabic, Arcelor, Erdemir, Avesta etc)
  • Intermediate level English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities
  • Dimension (DN) the circuits and calculate the load losses to develop the P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagram)
  • Develop the linelist of the plant for which he/she defines design pressures, pressure tests, design temperatures
  • Select and define pipe thicknesses and materials (piping classes) according to fluid conditions
  • Set preliminary studies of pipelines to develop the plant layout and the basic civil project
  • Define the pipe support systems according to the loads, the types of fluids, the pipe materials, the conditions of the fluids
  • Develop data sheets for the purchase of bulk piping material (pipes, fittings, accessory valves) and produce purchase lists
  • Coordinate affiliates and/or external engineering offices and control the detail engineering.
