JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings and specifications, and knowledgeable in piping installation techniques, materials, and testing procedures.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise all aspects of piping projects, from installation to testing teams, including contractors and subcontractors, ensuring efficient resource allocation and task completion.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols, conduct quality audits, and ensure work adheres to project specifications and standards.
• Review and approve piping drawings, prepare reports, and maintain accurate project documentation, including “as-built” drawings.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues and provide solutions to technical and logistical challenges that arise during projects.
• Responsible for safety in workplace & workers/contractors

REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Proven supervisory experience in piping installation and maintenance on construction sites, often with several years of relevant experience.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively direct teams, resolve conflicts, and report progress to management.
