Job Description: Piping Technician

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Piping Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various piping systems across residential, commercial, and industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and maintain PVC and GI (Galvanized Iron) piping systems
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on piping installations
• Troubleshoot and repair pipe leaks, blockages, and system malfunctions
• Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Ensure all work complies with local building codes and safety regulations
• Collaborate with project teams and report progress to supervisors
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used

Required Qualifications

Experience & Skills

• Minimum 1-2 years of hands-on experience in piping installation and maintenance (UAE or international experience accepted)
• Demonstrated expertise in working with PVC and GI piping systems
• Proficient in handling both manual and power tools safely and effectively
• Strong understanding of basic safety protocols and site discipline requirements

Physical Requirements

• Physically fit and capable of working in various environments including outdoor and indoor sites
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work in confined spaces when required
• Comfortable working in different weather conditions

Education & Certifications

• ITI (Industrial Training Institute) certification in Plumbing or related field preferred
• Diploma in Plumbing Technology or equivalent qualification is an advantage
• Relevant trade certifications will be considered favorably

Compensation Package

• Salary Range: AED 1,800 - 2,500 per month
• Compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, qualifications, and demonstrated skills
