Description Joey’s Wynwood Rosticceria and Bar is seeking a skilled and passionate Pizza and Italian Cuisine Cook to join our casual, Italian-inspired rotisserie team. This is a hands-on role in a casual, fast-paced environment where you’ll craft authentic Italian pizzas and other café-style dishes. PTO Vacation Days On-Demand Payroll Feature Compensation: Competitive salary up to $60,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications Essential Functions: Prepare and hand-stretch pizza dough, sauces, and toppings according to traditional Italian methods and café recipes. Cook pizzas in the oven, managing timing, temperature, and placement to achieve a perfect crust and toppings. Prepare other Italian dishes such as panini, pasta, lasagna, bruschetta, and sandwiches. Slice, plate, and serve menu items for counter service or takeout/delivery orders. Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked prep and service areas. Follow all sanitation, safety, and food-handling procedures. Assist team members as needed, including prep work, restocking, and general kitchen support. Deliver friendly and efficient service to all guests, ensuring a positive café experience. Requirements Proven experience in Italian cuisine and pizza-making expertise is required. Mastery of dough preparation, hand-stretching, and traditional Italian pizza techniques. Knowledge of authentic Italian ingredients, sauces, cheeses, and toppings. Experience with oven management (brick, deck, or wood-fired ovens) for perfect cooking results. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and consistency. Strong teamwork, communication, and customer service skills.
