Job Summary: We are seeking a full time skilled Pizza Chef to join our team at Da Sandro Pizzeria Ristorante. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
Salary negotiable dependent on experience.
Working 5 over 7 days, including bank holidays and weekends.

EXPERIENCE:

• Previous experience required in a similar role within the culinary industry.
• Proficient in kitchen operations and food preparation techniques
• Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment
• Culinary qualifications or relevant training is advantageous

SCOPE AND GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

To produce high quality pizza’s in our wood-fired pizza oven according to the restaurant’s menu and standards

DUTIES:

• Prepare and cook dishes according to the restaurant’s menu and standards
• Assist in all areas of food preparation as needed
• Ensure food safety regulations are adhered to at all times
• Help maintain a clean and organised kitchen
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate meal preparation

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Preparing Pizza and Specials to the agreed standard
• Ensuring stock rotation is in place
• Ensuring the kitchen is clean and tidy at all times & ensure levels of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained at the highest level.
• Accepting deliveries
• Preparing buffets for meetings and other functions
• Ensuring all food items are dated and covered
• Inform management of any maintenance defects
