Job Overview:
We are a small family run Italian restaurant in the heart of Cardiff City Centre. CF10 1BG
We are looking for an experienced pizza chef to join our busy team. Ability to work under pressure essential.
Open Tuesdays to Saturdays
We close for biannual PTO in August and January, and a week around Christmas and New Year
It is essential that you speak English or Italian.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare pizza dough from scratch and cook to order in in our wood burning pizza oven.
- Work alongside and assist our existing chefs in food prep and ensuring food safety standards are met.
- Assist with deliveries and monitor kitchen inventory levels.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace in adherence with Health & Hygiene/Safety principles.
- Keep wood store stocked and tidy.
Experience:
- Proven experience as a pizzaiolo in a fast paced restaurant environment.
- Proficient in food prep techniques.
Good rates of pay.
