JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Pizzaioli to join Fuochi . The ideal candidates should have have hands-on-experience with wood- fired ovens, a deep understanding of pizza preparation techniques, and expertise in dough-making from scratch. You will play a key role in delivering authentic, high-quality Neapolitan pizzas that delight our customers.

SKILLS

  • Proven experience as a pizzaiolo, specifically with with wood-fired ovens
  • Experience in food preparation, particularly in making pizzas or similar dishes.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
  • Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
  • A passion for cooking and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain a traditional wood-fired oven to produce high quality pizzas
  • Prepare and shape dough from scratch, following traditional recipes and techniques
  • Hand stretch pizza dough to achieve the perfect base, create, assemble and cook pizza using fresh, high quality ingredients
  • Monitor oven temperature to ensure optimal cooking conditions
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
  • Manage the inventory of ingredients and supplies, ensureing freshness and availability
  • Assist with meal preparation for other menu items as required.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
  • High standards of kitchen hygiene
