We are seeking a talented and passionate pizza chef/maker to join our team. SKILLS

  • Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant environment.
  • Strong culinary skills with an understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen hygiene.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively under pressure.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating leadership qualities when required.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential; passion for cooking is key.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook pizza and other dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications.
  • Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to plan and execute meal preparation efficiently.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff on cooking techniques and food safety practices.
  • Participate in menu development by suggesting new dishes or improvements to existing ones.
  • Serve meals to guests, ensuring presentation meets the restaurant’s standards.
