PIZZA CHEF – THE FRATERNITY CLUB

The Fraternity Club is a vibrant social hub just minutes from Wollongong’s CBD. With a cosmopolitan feel and strong community presence, we’ve built a reputation for quality dining and entertainment.
Il Bene, our highly successful wood-fired pizza restaurant, was recently crowned with the inaugural Perfect Pizza Award at the Perfect Plate Awards, recognising us as serving the best pizza across all Clubs in NSW.
Alongside Il Bene, we operate an award-winning 350 seat Trattoria and a thriving functions department hosting over 300 events each year. Our catering is busier than ever, and we’re looking for enthusiastic, motivated team members who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Skills required but not limited to include:

  • Experience in pizza making preferred
  • Ability to prepare dough preferred
  • Sound understanding of English
  • Ability to control stock
  • Good understanding of HACCP
  • Experience in a team environment
  • Ability to spin pizza dough preferred
  • Excellent personal presentation

This is a permanent full-time position; however, we are flexible and can consider part-time or casual arrangements for the right applicant.
This role involves working weekdays, weekends, evenings, and public holidays – candidates are required to be available during the club’s operational hours.

Responsibilities
  • Preparation of pizza from dough to serving preferred
  • Consistency and quality across all products
  • Assisting in the planning of menus on a seasonal basis
  • Maintain all equipment in good order
  • Maintain cleanliness and functionality of workstation
  • Comply with WHS regulations, HACCP processes, and procedures regarding food safety
