Description

The ideal candidate would be a fast learner, dependable, and interested in advancement. This job requires availability on nights and weekends. The kitchen staff’s primary job is assembling and cooking pizzas and other menu items and performing prep according to Fox’s Pizza Den standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assume 100% responsibility for the quality of products served.
  • Know and comply consistently with our cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen rules, policies,
  • Responsible for prepping ingredients for menu items in a neat, accurate, and timely way.
  • Follow prep recipes and ensure the quality and consistency of every batch recipe that goes from the prep kitchen to the proper workstation on the line.
  • Follow the prep list and prep items accordingly and within the allotted time frame.
  • Follow health, sanitation, cleanliness, and organization standards without faltering.
  • Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at the station to ensure a smooth service period.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation area.
  • Safely operate all equipment.
  • Properly distribute toppings using proper portions.
  • Follow pizza-slicing guidelines.
  • Read and understand tickets and maintain order.
  • Identify and correct poorly or wrongly prepared pizzas before delivering them to customers.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen.
  • Complete job lists and cleaning schedules.
  • Practice teamwork by helping co-workers.
  • Handle, store, and rotate all products properly.
  • Keep calm in pressure situations.
  • Maintain professionalism.
  • Adhere to company standards, including personal hygiene and appearance.
  • Adhere to health department codes regarding food sanitation and handling.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Food handler’s card.
  • Can work in a standing position for long periods.
  • Can reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift to 50 pounds.
