Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pizza Cook to join our team. As a Pizza Cook, you will be responsible for preparing delicious pizzas according to our recipes and specifications. Your attention to detail and passion for creating mouthwatering dishes will contribute to our customers’ satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Prepare pizza dough, sauces, and toppings according to established recipes
- Monitor oven temperatures and cooking times to ensure pizzas are cooked to perfection
- Toss and stretch pizza dough to create the desired size and thickness
- Add toppings and cheese in the appropriate quantities
- Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and slicers
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following food safety guidelines
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in the food industry, preferably as a Pizza Cook or in a similar role
- Knowledge of basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating cooking times
- Familiarity with food handling procedures and safety standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Experience with POS systems, such as Aloha POS, is a plus
- Culinary training or certification is preferred but not required
