OVERVIEW

Roaring Table Brewing is looking for an experienced Pizzaiolo/Chef to oversee every aspect of our new kitchen, where we plan on crafting delicious pizzas, sandwiches, and salads. The right person for this job will have extensive pizza-making skills, especially those related to dough and fermentations for both Detroit/Sicilian and Tavern/Tonda Romana-style pies.

A QUALIFIED APPLICANT WOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

• Being available to work in the kitchen 40 - 50 hours per week, including evenings and weekends
• Dough making and fermentation for Chicago Thin Crust, New York, and Detroit pizzas
• Ordering and caring for all inventory and ingredients used in the kitchen
• Pizza making and baking in our three deck electric PizzaMaster oven
• Sandwich making
• Salad making
• Managing and leading kitchen staff
• Working with ownership on food costing, menu development, and recipe innovation
• Maintaining an orderly, clean, and health department-compliant environment at all times
• Embracing our culture of can-do problem solving and taking on the many varied challenges that small businesses must navigate day-to-day in order to survive
