We are seeking a passionate and innovative Place Activation Coordinator to join our Communications and Engagement team. In this position, you will have the opportunity to develop and implement events and activations that contribute to making our campus a vibrant hub of creativity and connection.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

  • Support the Manager, Communications and Engagement, to coordinate and deliver the Place Activation Strategy - from idea generation, through to research, creative development, and project delivery.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders and external networks to maximise exposure to valuable opportunities.
  • Work closely with diverse teams including faculty members, external consultants, and agencies to bring creative ideas to life.
  • Use data-driven insights to evaluate and improve activation programs.
  • Work in a supportive and dynamic team, whilst also managing a diverse portfolio of various projects.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL HAVE:

  • Strong project management experience, ideally with a track record of delivering successful and engaging events.
  • Completion of a relevant degree and/or training.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Effective time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and maintain competing priorities in an efficient manner.
  • A creative mindset with the ability to develop unique and memorable experiences.
  • The ability to work flexibly, including outside regular office hours when needed.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

  • As this is a permanent position, you must have full Australian working rights to be considered for this role
  • Willing to undertake a National Police Clearance, and background, integrity, and reference checks to Curtin’s satisfaction
