PLACEMENT ADMINISTRATOR (FIXED TERM)

Job description

2 YEAR FIXED TERM

We are seeking a highly organised, and detail-oriented Professional Placement Administrator to join our Graduate Outcomes and Enterprise Directorate for 2 years. You will support Placements across three teams. Professional Placements Team supporting students to source, apply to and complete professional placements. Practice Placement Team to support the provision of clinical placements working in partnership with a growing number of NHS Trusts and local healthcare providers. Academic Partnerships Placements, through close working relationships with key stakeholders based at LTU and some of partner organisations. As the first point of contact for enquiries, you will provide professional and timely support to a range of people including students, placement providers and colleagues. Duties include managing shared inboxes, maintaining and auditing placement records, maintaining up-to-date resources, minuting meetings, and supporting placement-related events and communications. You will also assist in reviewing systems and processes, supporting student and provider engagement, and ensuring compliance throughout the placement lifecycle.
Excellent organisational skills, a close attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently are essential. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are also key. Experience with MS Teams, MS Excel, data handling, and working in a busy administrative environment is desirable.
