Description

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Placement team at Mercer Marsh Benefits. This role will be based in the Philippines. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
The Placement Associate will play a crucial role in matching clients’ insurance needs with appropriate carrier coverage, coordinating with advisors and client executives to ensure optimal solutions.

We will count on you to:

  • Assess risk expertise and knowledge of industry and carriers to develop placement solutions that meet client needs.
  • Implement the Placement strategy to achieve growth goals and provide exceptional client service.
  • Document all activities in the system such as but not limited to preparation of Terms or Reference (TOR), preparation of Request for Proposal (RFP) documents to ensure timely delivery to Broking and Sales teams including all other deliverables to clients and carriers.
  • Assist in managing the submission of coverage specifications and obtaining quotes from carriers based on the “assist, advise, and assume” transaction model.
  • Improve relationships with carriers, underwriters, and the client team to provide cohesive client service.
  • Forecast and communicate changes in insurance and risk management market conditions to inform client executives, client advisors, and clients of major developments affecting various types of products/coverage.

What you need to have:

  • Proven experience in Employee Health and Benefits insurance placement or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of market practices, pricing, and underwriting policies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and carriers.
