We play an important role in Aston’s 2030 strategy with plenty of opportunity for growth and innovation. Well known for being pioneers of placement programmes, our work centres around the delivery of outstanding graduate outcomes and equipping business and communities with the skills for the future. We are seeking two highly motivated individuals to join our busy and friendly Placements Preparation team. The successful candidates will be responsible for facilitating and supporting increasing numbers of students into work experience opportunities in the UK and overseas, creatively overcoming students’ barriers and challenges. You will have responsibility for your own student cohort and will market placement opportunities to them, both virtually and face-to-face, in order to stimulate demand and deliver student preparation activities, including skills development workshops.
As one of the successful candidates, you will need to enjoy working under pressure and achieving targets. This is a hands-on role that requires an enthusiastic and innovative individual. You must be able to think on your feet, work independently but also as part of a team with the ability to empower and inspire students.
