Job Description The Director of Operations is responsible for leading the operational performance of the firm's Senior Case Management (Production), Medical Management, and Reductions Departments. This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for driving execution, accountability, operational excellence, process improvement, technology adoption, and KPI performance across multiple departments. This is not a strategy-only position. The successful candidate must be equally comfortable developing long-term operational strategy and working directly with department leaders to improve daily execution, eliminate bottlenecks, increase productivity, and solve operational challenges. The ideal candidate has significant experience leading operations within a Plaintiff Personal Injury law firm, possesses exceptional analytical and leadership skills, and has a proven history of improving performance through data, technology, AI, workflow optimization, and people development. This is a 100% onsite leadership position based in Miami Lakes, Florida. Relocation assistance is not available for this position. What You'll Do Operational Leadership Lead the daily operations of the Senior Case Management, Medical Management, and Reductions departments. Develop, coach, and mentor department managers. Hold leaders accountable for departmental performance. Build a culture of urgency, ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement. Performance Management Develop and monitor departmental KPIs. Analyze dashboards to identify trends, bottlenecks, productivity gaps, and opportunities. Review operational performance daily. Implement corrective action plans. Improve turnaround times, quality, and productivity. Process Improvement Improve workflows across multiple departments. Standardize SOPs. Identify opportunities for automation and AI. Improve operational scalability. Eliminate inefficiencies through Lean operational thinking. Technology & Innovation Partner with IT and executive leadership on technology initiatives. Improve utilization of Litify, Salesforce, dashboards, reporting, AI, automation, and workflow tools. Leverage operational data to improve business decisions. Financial & Operational Results Improve operational efficiency. Reduce backlog. Improve case progression. Increase departmental productivity. Improve client experience. Support budgeting and workforce planning. Leadership & Collaboration Partner with Executive Leadership. Develop future leaders. Coach managers through accountability and KPI management. Qualifications Required Qualifications Minimum 7 years of operations leadership experience in a high-volume, service-based organization. Minimum 3 years leading operations within a Plaintiff Personal Injury law firm. Experience overseeing Intake, Case Management, Medical Management, Senior Case Management, Settlements, or Reductions. Experience leading multiple department managers. Experience managing 50+ indirect reports and 5+ direct reports. Proven success improving operational KPIs. Demonstrated ability to coach managers and improve accountability. Experience reducing backlog and improving workflow efficiency. Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills. Experience using dashboards, KPIs, and operational reporting. Experience implementing process improvements and operational change. Experience leveraging technology, automation, AI, or CRM platforms to improve operations. Strong executive communication and leadership presence. Ability to work onsite Monday through Friday in Miami Lakes. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree required. MBA or Master's degree preferred. Experience implementing Litify. Salesforce experience. AI implementation experience. Lean Six Sigma certification. Experience building operational dashboards. Experience leading digital transformation initiatives.
