THE QUALIFICATIONS:

As part of the Tabor Planer maintenance team the Tabor Planer Maintenance/Planerman will be an exceptional team member that will work with the Tabor Planer team to perform preventative maintenance, repairs and modifications to all of the equipment throughout the Tabor Planer as well as participate in the installation of new equipment.

  • Previous experience working in the wood processing industry with relevant maintenance experience.
  • Previous Planerman experience.
  • Valid lumber grading certificate would be considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of Optimization equipment.
  • Valid Class 5 Drivers license with a safe driving record.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
  • Must be dependable, efficient, professional and have a positive attitude.
Responsibilities
  • Work Tuesday to Saturday dayshift (occasional shift coverage if required)
  • Perform Preventative Maintenance on equipment.
  • Conduct repairs on equipment as required.
  • Participate in Tabor Planer projects to assist in the installation of new equipment, or modifications to existing equipment.
    Salary range is $100K-$125K annually, based on experience. A full benefits package is offered, including, but not limited to: extended health, dental, vision and employer RRSP contributions.
