LE RÔLE
Relevant du/de la Directeur(trice) des achats, vous serez responsable de la planification, des achats, du sourcing et de l’allocation (magasins & e‑commerce). Vous déterminez quoi acheter et à quel moment selon les ventes et les délais fournisseurs; vous recommandez les nouveautés à introduire (ex. saison du printemps) et les articles à conserver ou à retirer; et vous soutenez les magasins et le service à la clientèle pour les commandes clients en magasin et les dossiers d’escalade.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

Reporting to the Merchandising Director, you will own end‑to‑end planning, buying, sourcing, and store/e‑commerce allocations. You plan what to buy and when, based on sales trends and lead times; identify the new items we should introduce (e.g., for spring) and which items to keep or exit; and support stores and customer service with in‑store client orders and escalations.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Planning & Forecasting
  • Build seasonal/category SKU‑level demand forecasts and purchasing calendars aligned to sales plans and vendor lead times.
  • Own open‑to‑buy (OTB), weeks of supply (WOS), and replenishment rules.
  • Analyze weekly sales/on‑hand/cover to recommend keep, expand, reduce, exit actions.
  • Buying & Sourcing
  • Source new suppliers and products; obtain quotes,
  • Drive product ideation with vendors for seasonal launches and exclusives.
  • Allocation & Replenishment
  • Create initial allocations by store cluster and channel; manage top‑ups, transfers, and rebalancing to maximize in‑stock and sell‑through.
  • Partner with DC/Logistics to align inbound flow with promotions and capacity.
  • Store & Customer Support
  • Support Customer Service on backorders/substitutions; resolve product availability issues.
  • Process in‑store client orders (special orders, ship‑to‑store, direct‑to‑home) and track through fulfillment.
  • Cross‑Functional
  • Collaborate with Marketing on launch calendars and promotional buys.
  • Maintain clean product/PO data in planning/ERP systems and track vendor performance.
