Description Hourly: $23 Job Description This role will give you the opportunity to be involved in Operations Department and grow with the business. Planned Technicians will repair, maintain, and facilitate service for loading dock equipment, industrial doors, and specialty lifts operations at customer facilities. Planned Maintenance Technicians act as a technical resource for our company and customer. This position works independently or in small teams in a field services environment and requires driving to customer sites in a company truck and maintaining an organized work environment. Job Responsibilities: Ensures equipment perform to specifications by conducting tests; modify and adjust the equipment for proper operation. Service and maintain equipment per specification. Disassemble or dismantle equipment. Be punctual. Answer requests and concerns about product and service. Plans and facilitates maintenance and repair of new or refurbished machinery. Conducts safety inspections of equipment. Red Tag equipment that is deemed unsafe. Performs other related duties as assigned. Skills and Abilities Ability to work with mechanical and electrical components. Basic understanding of how and why electrical, mechanical, hydraulic systems work independently or with each other. Basic understanding as to why a part failed, and how to replace it or repair it. Thorough and broad understanding of a variety of equipment and equipment. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics. Strong analytical and trouble-shooting skills. Requirements Physical Requirements Prolonged periods standing, stretching, bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling required. Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time. Visual acuity to properly inspect and modify large and detailed portions of equipment. Manual dexterity to assemble, disassemble, adjust, service and perform planned maintenance on equipment and drive a vehicle.
