Description
Our manufacturing site in Luton, is currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Planner to join our dynamic Supply Chain team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning production schedules and capacity to maximize revenue, meet customer demands, and support plant operations. Develop and maintain production schedules aligned with customer orders, plant capacity, and inventory levels. Convert MRP-generated planned orders into production orders in SAP, optimizing for material availability and capacity. Monitor and respond to daily MRP exceptions, balancing constraints and customer needs. Coordinate product modifications, ensuring Bills of Material (BOM) and inventory transactions reflect changes accurately. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance business performance. Track production orders and proactively identify material supply issues, communicating effectively with stakeholders. Liaise with Sales to provide accurate delivery dates and updates on potential delays. Support plant projects and new product introductions, including planning for validation builds. Proven experience in Production Planning, Supply Chain Management, or Manufacturing Operations. Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
