Join our team and discover why we are a top veteran employer and Certified Great Place to Work™ ASRC Federal NetCentric Technology, LLC (NetC) is seeking a Planner/Estimator to join our team for the Kirtland Engineering and Operations Support (KEOS) contract at Kirtland Air Force Base (KAFB) in Albuquerque, New Mexico. KEOS is a base maintenance contract (BMC), also known as a base operations support (BOS) contract. Job Summary The Planner/Estimator supports mission-critical sustainment activities to ensure effective and efficient operation of US-owned and occupied facilities, the built infrastructure, and all associated installed equipment at Kirtland AFB. This includes infrastructure preventative and corrective maintenance, technical engineering evaluation, and facility condition assessment services. The duties and responsibilities listed below are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive. Duties and Responsibilities: Supports Operations Engineering Production Control activities to include but not limited to: Works with customers to help determine work requirements according to available budget and assists in the development of any required documentation. Coordinates with shop leads and production control on all work order schedules. Plans and coordinates labor and material for all planned work orders developed within the Operations Engineering function. Employs engineering estimation expertise to determine man-hours and skills required to perform work with in-house or third-party workforce; plans labor and material requirements within 10% accuracy. Determines if specialized skills are required and helps identify qualified vendors/contractors. Works closely with NetC warehouse personnel and NetC buyers to develop material requirements. Performs facility condition assessments, both routine and during exercises or real-world emergencies. Performs quality assurance inspections and assessments associated with new construction and/or repairs. Evaluates process performance and is actively involved in the quality improvement process. Work with customers and company employees in a courteous, professional, and effective manner. Responds to requests for information from internal management and government customers; extract and prepare data summary reports. Provides contract required deliverables to government oversight personnel. May participate in an after-hours on-demand service program. Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor. Requirements: Minimum education level of high school diploma or GED equivalent. Minimum of three (3) years of experience in sustainment and renovation project scoping, estimating, and scheduling related to each of the following concentrations: Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Systems (HVAC) Plumbing Natural gas Electrical Fire alarm and suppression Interior and exterior architecture-related systems. Have or be able to obtain within 12 months of hire, Air Force Certified Cost Estimator certification from the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) via completion of WENG 400 Life-Cycle Cost Estimating. Have experience planning or performing facility maintenance, improvements, or repairs. Capable of working independently with minimal supervision. Experience and aptitude using Microsoft Office365applications. Possess excellent English verbal and written communication skills. Be a US citizen and have and maintain a valid US driver's license. Must be able to pass a drug screen. Must be able to obtain and maintain a US government-issued security clearance. Have ability to perform repetitive physical tasks involving lifting at least 50 lbs. Be comfortable at heights at 50 feet or more for purposes of site visits or inspections. Be committed to providing for and maintaining a safe working environment. Preferred Qualifications: Minimum of five (5) years of experience in sustainment and renovation project scoping, estimating, and scheduling. Experience working in Department of Defense or other government environment.
