We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Merchandise Planner to join our team in Sydney. As a Merchandise Planner, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our business by effectively managing inventory, analyzing sales data, and developing strategic merchandise plans to optimize sales and profitability.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive merchandise plans in collaboration with the Buying team to support sales, margin, and inventory goals.
  • Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and product performance to forecast demand and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for replenishment, markdowns, and promotions to maximize sell-through and minimize excess stock.
  • Partner with the Buying team to plan and execute product assortments that align with customer preferences, brand strategy, and financial objectives.
  • Conduct regular sales and inventory analysis to identify risks and opportunities, and make data-driven recommendations to optimize assortment and pricing strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Merchandising, Marketing, and Operations, to ensure seamless execution of merchandise plans and initiatives.
  • Prepare and present merchandise plans, forecasts, and performance reports to senior management, highlighting key insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to inform strategic decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
