The project:
The project is the largest infrastructure project in the history of the Irish state. The scheme is 18.9km in length with multiple tunneled sections. The alignment comprises of 16 stations and multiple structures. The project will integrate Dublin’s existing transport infrastructure at key locations throughout the city. The project is entering into the next phase in readiness for the procurement of the major infrastructure contracts. The successful applicant will join a fast expanding client team as part of the scheduling team within the PMO directorate. The successful applicant will be will be responsible for supporting the Schedule Lead in the development and management of the overall schedule management which considers all methodologies required to develop and manage the schedule including working and reporting calendars, resources, costs, interfaces, claims, risks, constraints and assumptions.
The role holder shall provide leadership in scheduling and resourcing throughout the delivery of the project, ensuring that the schedule management plan is being complied with across the project, including by the project delivery partner and the appointed contractor(s).

You’ll need to have:
- 5+ years’ experience in schedule management with at least 3 years’ experience in schedule management and a proven track record of leading project scheduling activities across the project lifecycle through to completion in high value metro rail projects or projects of a similar scale/complexity.
- BEng, BA, BSc in a related discipline.
You’ll also have:
- Tangible experience of co-ordinating and organising multiple sources of schedule inputs/performance data into a master schedule platform and deliver project/program status reports as required.
- Proven track record of carrying out scheduling and resource management in multiple large scale/value projects and programmes.
- Prior experience of advanced capability and experience of scheduling systems administrative functions such as layouts resources, reports, codes, etc.
- In-depth understanding of the design and delivery requirements of technically complex projects in the architectural/engineering/construction sectors.
- Experience of dealing with a range of stakeholders at all levels across the organisation influencing the improvement of process and providing guidance to support project delivery and reporting.
- Knowledge of quality management and process improvement practices and systems is desirable, preferably within the construction sector.
- Good influencing skills to manage and motivate teams in support of delivery of high risk, value and complex project and programmes.
- Ability to coordinate and organize multiple sources of reporting inputs/performance data and deliver project/programme reports as required.
- An ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to govern and drive outcomes to ensure high quality service.
- MAPM of formal PM/ planning qualification.
