Planner Summary: Create and manage a master Schedule that is aligned with Capacity Plan, Engineering, Deliverables, Sourced Materials and Shop Labor Resources. Planner Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Defines master manufacturing schedule of manufacturing based upon capacity plan, estimated hours, work-scope, and resources. Facilitates meetings with manufacturing supervisors to align resources and ensure on time shipments. Facilitates production meeting with necessary staff including Sourcing and PMs to align material needs and communicate key milestone dates. Facilitates meetings with Engineering to prioritize efforts and ensure alignment with schedule. Responsible for maintaining real time schedule and distribution of Job status report. Responsible for determining and communicating customer witness points to PMs. Responsible for monthly reporting of cycle times, on-time shipping, and labor utilization. Maintains accurate delivery dates in cost accounting system for financial planning. Requirements Planner Qualifications: 4-year Technical Degree or Equivalent experience. 2-years of prior customer service experience. proficiency in utilizing ERP Systems to manage production schedules and maintain accurate material and capacity plans.
