ABOUT THE JOB:

Kent is looking for a Planner – Shutdown/Production to develop and update deliverables for the project team.
Skills and Responsibilities:

KNOWLEDGE/ QUALIFICATION/ TRAINING/ CERTIFICATION:

  • Diploma holder or higher qualification required. Degree holder preferred.
  • 7+ years Planning/Scheduling experience within Oil and Gas Industry and Commissioning project experience is required.
  • Experience with critical path method analysis/technique with Primavera.
  • Proficient with Primavera P6, Excel and preferably/Power BI.
  • Proficient computer skills, SharePoint, Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word.
Responsibilities
  • Ensure that planned maintenance, inspections, and project activities are executed safely, efficiently, and within budget during plant shutdowns.
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize detailed shutdown/turnaround schedules using Primavera P6, aligned with LNG plant operational requirements.
  • Collaborate with operations, maintenance, engineering, and HSE to define work scope and ensure complete and safe execution.
  • Break down scope into job packages with clear work instructions, material requirements, manpower, tools, and equipment.
  • Manage long-lead procurement and contractor onboarding to ensure readiness before shutdown.
  • Monitor shutdown execution, updating schedules and resolving delays in real-time.
  • Conduct risk assessments and integrate mitigation plans into the schedule.
  • Ensure compliance with LNG plant-specific safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead post-shutdown analysis, capturing lessons learned for future improvement.
