Planner, Regional Network Planning, APAC based in Singapore Life Unlimited. At Smith+Nephew, we craft and manufacture technology that takes the limits off living. The Planner, Regional Network Planning, Sports & ENT APAC is responsible for the identification, assimilation, analysis, interpretation, and logical dissemination of information to supply the markets assigned to the APAC hub regions. The responsibilities cover the replenishment execution and optimization of the trade stock inventories at any assigned Singapore Hub facilities. The planner supports the replenishment of the APAC hub through agreed VMI (vendor manged inventory) process with its vendors / source suppliers. What will you be doing? Perform formal and schedule data analysis to determine optimal inventory balances for assigned markets. Manage and maintain any inventory initiatives regionally with data and analysis. Interface with global planners, master planners, and management to support regional inventory initiatives. Monitors end customer service levels in the countries served by the APAC hub and recommends changes in inventory policy where needed. Governing the countries requirements and ensure adequate supply to support the business. • Interface with countries to gather market intelligence, like forecast trending, tenders as well as NPL, to support the business. To provide guidance to countries to review the parameters like safety stocks, lead time, etc. Review and agree appropriate stock levels quarterly and adhoc agreements to maximise customer service and minimise E&O. Manage allocation status and process for ringfenced critical products that are supply constrained, including management of SKUs to support critical customers. •Prepare relevant information for S&OE Cluster huddles taking actions outside the meeting to improve inventory health and allocation execution. Maintain material, vendor, purchasing, Rapid Response related and source master data records for Plants list. Develop consistent and repeatable processes for the extraction of data and computation of Global KPIs and other reports as required. Support department initiatives through, using of analytical tools and data sources, to provide fair and accurate information for good decision- making. Complies with all HSE and quality policies and procedures as required by job function and completes all required HSE and quality training. What will you need to be successful? Success in the role will requires a combination of technical knowledge, soft skills, and a deep understanding of both the business and service-providing sides of an organization. Successful candidates would need the following: Bachelor's degree in engineering, Supply Chain or equivalent. APICS CSCP or CPIM certified is a plus. 5 years hands on experience in Supply Chain planning, Inventory Management roles. Experience in ERP Systems (SAP, Power) or equivalent is a must. Good to also have hands on experience in Planning Systems (Rapid Response or equivalent), Advanced Excel skills Japanese speaking is a plus. You. Unlimited.
