This role is integral to ensuring efficient production planning and execution through the effective use of SAP and other advanced planning tools. Key Responsibilities: * Production Planning: * Develop and maintain detailed production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements while optimizing resource utilization. * Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and operations, to ensure schedules align with project objectives. * Material Planning: * Monitor material requirements and availability to support production schedules. * Work closely with procurement to address material shortages and ensure timely delivery of components. * SAP Utilization: * Use SAP for scheduling, material planning, and production tracking. * Ensure accuracy of data within SAP, including BOMs, routings, and work center capacities. * Capacity Management: * Assess and analyze production capacities, identifying potential bottlenecks. * Implement strategies to balance workloads and ensure smooth operations. * Change Management: * Respond to schedule changes driven by customer demands, supply chain disruptions, or production issues. * Communicate changes effectively to all stakeholders and adjust plans as necessary. * Performance Monitoring: * Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, schedule adherence, and inventory levels. * Provide regular reports and recommendations to leadership Qualifications * Education: * Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. * Experience: * 3+ years of planning/scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably aerospace. * Proven experience using SAP (Production Planning and Materials Management modules). * Skills: * Strong understanding of production processes, capacity planning, and materials management. * Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. * Certifications (Preferred): * APICS CPIM or CSCP certification. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- * As a Department of Defense Contractor we are required to hire US Persons. * Visa sponsorship is not being offered.
