Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons Monitor and adjust as necessary material master data settings for all parts to ensure the Safety Stock, supplier contact information, and all other necessary master data fields is correct. Determine items to be ordered, generate purchase orders, as well as following up on all changes that are proposed by the system. Constantly optimize material master data and other settings to obtain highest efficiency in acknowledging orders, producing orders, managing inventory and shipping material to meet customer demands. Monitor, analyze and improve key performance indicators for planning (e.g. delivery performance, inventory, costs). Lead continuous improvement efforts in information flow between customer, sales and supplying plants to establish and improve the material supply chain and service level to the customer by applying lean principles. Support new product introductions (phase-ins/phase-outs) and engineering/revision changes with sales, production team and supplying plant to meet customer requirements while minimizing obsolescence risk. Start and manage escalations with suppliers to solve various types of issues in the supply chain. Data analysis for uncovering improvement potentials and determining root causes of supply chain issues. Perform other essential and related duties as may be assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science or similar discipline from an accredited institution (ex. CHEA) or 5 years’ experience in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Capacity Planning, Production Planning, Purchasing or similar discipline. 5 plus years in supply chain experience in a production environment; including demand planning, inventory management, capacity planning, and production flow. Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (SAP preferred) Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make informed decisions that balance customer demand, inventory levels, and production capacity. Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, along with Outlook and Teams. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally across production, procurement, customer service, and leadership teams. Customer-focused mindset with the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining service levels and on-time delivery performance. Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision, exercise sound judgment, and make data-driven decisions in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to proactively identify risks, escalate issues appropriately, and implement corrective actions. Flexibility and resilience to adapt to shifting priorities, tight deadlines, and changes in demand or supply constraints. Additional Information The pay range for this position is $77,000-$88,000 per year, based on experience.
