You will be an integral part of a best-in-class maintenance program working with site leadership on priorities and coordinating contractors planning processes through accuracy, efficiency, and collaboration. DURING A TYPICAL DAY Planning - Assure all work orders are planned for Environmental, Health & Safety and Quality - Assure all work orders have necessary technical components to execute high quality work from POET and contractor staff alike - Coordinate with other POET Bioprocessing resources and contractors as needed to develop accurate work order plans and minimize issues due to planning problems - Assure all WO’s are in the proper status by identified timeframes to complete work consistent with priority status - Perform Outage planning and scheduling year around - Contractor Coordinator Scheduling - Own completion of weekly schedule one week in advance lead weekly meeting to complete/communicate the 1- week work schedule. - Schedule Maintenance Technicians available hours weekly to >90% - Coordinate with the Operations team to ensure all activities are scheduled consistent with production targets while also maintaining Safety and Environmental standards Since we’re all about teamwork and getting the job done, your skill may be put to a lot of other uses! STRENGTHS OF A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE - High school diploma or equivalent is required. - Experience with maintenance managements systems such as Maximo is a plus. - Uptime Elements Maintenance Reliability Certification or equivalent certification is also a plus. - You have the ability to achieve and maintain forklift certification. - Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills as well as the ability to embrace change. - You communicate effectively in writing and in person. - You have the ability to understand technical and day to day operation of a bioprocessing facility. - You know the basics of Microsoft Office Suite. You’re capable of learning new programs. WORK ENVIRONMENT Team members will be required to adhere to all safety requirements at all times and in all work environments. This position is exposed to work in multiple environments, including plant, laboratory, as well as an office environment. You may be exposed to high noise levels, moving mechanical parts, dusty conditions, internal and external temperature/weather conditions, and chemicals. Due to the physical and safety sensitive nature of this job, you will be subject to a physical and expected to pass a drug screen during the pre-screen process. During employment, you’ll be subject to random drug and alcohol testing. Specific physical requirements may include: Occasionally lifting weight up to sixty (60) pounds. Climbing several flights of stairs and ladders. Opening valves. Occasionally bending, twisting and turning while lifting weight of less than fifty (50) pounds. Data entry while seated for greater than one (1) hour. Walking up to two (2) or more miles per day. Pushing brooms, shovels, etc. Working at heights, in confined spaces and at temperatures from -20 to +100 degrees. Standing for extended periods of time. Wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
