PLANNER / SCHEDULER WITH CAD EXPERIENCE

We are recruiting for a Planner / Scheduler to work for our client who are located in Barnsley, South Yorkshire.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCES & SKILLS:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD with a strong background in fabrication drawing.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a draughtsman in a relevant field.
  • Strong communication skills for liaising with customers and addressing queries.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations as they pertain to production environments.
  • Ability to drive continuous improvement practices within the team.
  • Familiarity with Inventor – desirable but not essential
  • Experience working with Chrome Carbide Clad Plate– desirable but not essential
  • A degree or equivalent in Engineering. – desirable but not essential
  • Scheduling experience – desirable but not essential
Responsibilities

Utilize 2D AutoCAD and 3D Inventor drawing packages to create accurate designs.
Issue manufacturing drawings and General Arrangements (GA) to support production.
Develop reverse engineering drawings to meet project specifications.
Manage material orders through our ERP system and raise production files for manufacturing.
Using Procut or similar software.
Scheduling plate to ensure timely availability of stock for manufacturing requirements and stock levels.
Using Procut or similar software.
Communicating effectively with colleagues to resolve any customer complaints and concerns swiftly.
