Responsibilities

THE ROLE:

You will be responsible for helping to manage supply for specific categories as well as being a key player in sales & operation planning (S&OP), product availability, inventory and cost productivity, standard operating procedures (SOPs), inventory accuracy, and more.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

The position of Planner, Supply Chain will play a critical role in supporting the company’s strategy by optimizing the flow of goods and information, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality products, and leveraging technology to drive efficiency and support the growth of the business.

  • Individual contributions to Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)
  • Providing insights for Monthly End of Year & Monthly Inventory Review
  • Conducting activities cross-functionally to ensure Budgeted Dollars & Demand Plan Units, Demand Validation is reconciled monthly, quarterly, and annually
  • Aligning cross functionally for Launch Summer Collaboration for new product introductions monthly
  • Addressing slow moving, excess, obsolete and overall life cycle analysis
  • Product Availability
  • Communicating current and future anticipated warehouse in stock issues
  • Root Cause analysis and process improvement to proactively mitigate stock outs
  • Ensuring all customer needs and lead times are calculated into supply planning requirements
  • Communicating the Top 50 item availability reporting and informing leaders as necessary
  • Inventory Productivity
  • Analysis of days of supply goals at category level
  • Effective forecasting of SKUs
  • Execution of plans for overstock mitigation strategies cross-functionally
  • Discussing & negotiation of transfers to and from USA with other Clarins subsidiaries
  • Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) Leadership
  • Contributing to proper SOP documentation for USA Supply Chain and Inventory Operations
  • Alert leadership for improving processes and simplification of Demand & Supply Planning
  • Adhere to USA & Global SOPs & complete training
  • Provides feedback on systems, processes and procedures to improve overall business outcomes
  • Cost Productivity
  • Ensuring steps are taken to mitigate write offs of expired, end of life and one time purchases by way of sell thru analysis, collaboration and strategy management
  • Ensure air & expedited freight is avoided by ensuring short & long term planning timelines are followed
