The Opportunity UGL is seeking an experienced Planner to join a high-performing team delivering major utilities and infrastructure projects. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules, monitoring progress, and providing critical insights to ensure successful project delivery. You’ll play a key role in supporting planning, reporting, and performance analysis across the full project lifecycle, working closely with project teams, site personnel, and stakeholders Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain baseline project schedules, ensuring WBS integrity and alignment Support tender schedule preparation and ongoing schedule management Track project progress, productivity, and performance against milestones Prepare weekly and ad-hoc reporting, including dashboards, forecasts, and S-curves Conduct critical path analysis, trends analysis, and risk/impact assessments Collaborate with site teams to review productivity and address inefficiencies Assist with variation proposals and delay notices in consultation with estimating teams Contribute to continuous improvement of planning processes and project performance Participate in schedule reviews and stakeholder communications About You You will be successful in this role if you have: Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Construction, or a related discipline Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar planning role, ideally within construction or utilities projects Strong experience with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Power BI and SAP Proven ability to analyse data and provide meaningful project insights Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills Highly organised with strong prioritisation and time management abilities Why Join UGL?
