Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Project Planner to join our team in Norfolk, United Kingdom. As a Project Planner, you will play a crucial role within the team in ensuring the successful execution of our engineering projects in the energy sector by developing, implementing, and monitoring project schedules / plans. Utilise planning software (preferably Primavera P6) to track and monitor project progress, as well as support delivery forecasting/look-aheads. Utilise planning software (preferably Primavera P6) to develop and support change / impact programmes with the wider delivery teams. Develop comprehensive project execution plans, schedules, and resource allocations. Analyse the project requirements and create detailed work breakdown structures. Identify potential programme risks, and propose mitigation strategies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify all project requirements and agree timescales. Conduct resource forecasting and optimisation to improve project efficiency. Assist in the development of project budgets and cost estimates, through programme utilisation. Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for planning processes. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of experience in engineering industry or related field Strong Knowledge of NEC form of contract essential Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera P6) Excellent mathematical and analytical skills Ability to develop and manage complex project schedules Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment Experience in construction or infrastructure projects Knowledge of construction methodologies and techniques Understanding of project scheduling and resource allocation principles Familiarity with industry standards and regulations Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Role Type: Permanent, Full-time
