Responsibilities About the Role: We are seeking a dynamic Senior Manager to lead the Cost Benefit Analysis (CBA) & IT Finance team, a critical part of the Planning & Analysis (P&A) department within Financial Operations. The CBA & IT Finance team is a trusted, objective financial partner to leaders across the company, providing consultation to leaders about the financial implications of strategic initiatives and enabling informed decision making. As Senior Manager, you will lead a team of highly motivated and respected professionals who collaborate with leaders at all organizational levels. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to communicate effectively with senior executives and mid-level leaders, broad business and financial acumen, and the ability to manage and prioritize competing demands. Key Responsibilities of the CBA & IT Finance Team: Develop comprehensive Cost Benefit Analyses (CBAs) to support decision-making by forecasting cash flows and calculating the expected net present value (NPV) of initiatives. Provide consultation to executive leadership on cost-benefit and other financial analyses required for strategic decisions. Act as an unbiased, strategic thought partner to leadership and business areas regarding the financial implications of projects and initiatives. Prepare clear, accurate, and timely written financial analyses, translating complex financial concepts into digestible insights for diverse stakeholders to inform decision making. Create and maintain financial reports to monitor incurred costs and realized benefits associated with major organizational initiatives. Specific Job Duties and Expectations: Communicate CBA results clearly and effectively to leadership at all levels, including senior executives. Understand the scope and objectives of new CBA requests to ensure alignment with business needs, providing clear direction to assigned team members. Prioritize, direct, organize, and manage CBA assignments within your area of responsibility, considering team members’ capacity, skillsets, and interests. Promote the training, personal growth, professional development, and overall effectiveness of direct reports. Provide strong leadership by modeling behaviors that encourage curiosity, collaboration, technical expertise, innovation, and a results-driven mindset. Provide guidance to team in analyzing complex financial analysis. Cultivate a positive work environment that values teamwork, superior customer service, quality, confidentiality, and productivity. Qualifications Experience leading professional teams, formally or informally, is preferred. Strong communication skills, including ability to convey complex financial topics to executive leaders. Proven ability to prioritize work effectively amid competing demands. Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with leaders across multiple departments. Broad business and financial acumen, including expertise in net present value, cash flow forecasting, discount rates, return on investment (ROI), and related financial metrics. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Insurance, or a related field is preferred.
