Responsibilities

Join Us as a Planning Analyst.
As a Planning Analyst within the Tech Strategy & Business Operations team, you will play a key role in driving operational excellence and strategic insight across our technology portfolio. You will work closely with Finance, Portfolio Delivery, and Development teams to ensure accurate forecasting, resource tracking, and data-driven decision-making. This role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment and has a passion for turning data into actionable intelligence.

Here’s what you’ll be diving into:

  • Forecasting: Track and manage financial forecasts and actuals across all portfolios of work, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Data Analysis: Analyse complex datasets to identify trends, variances, and key insights that inform business decisions.
  • Reporting: Produce clear, concise reports and present findings to senior stakeholders, including Directors and Heads of Department.
  • Timesheet Compliance: Support timesheet tracking and compliance across teams to maintain accurate capacity and demand planning.
  • Project Support: Contribute to various capacity and demand initiatives as required, supporting broader strategic planning efforts.

This is more than just a numbers role - it’s a chance to influence strategy, collaborate across teams, and grow your career in a fast-paced, forward-thinking environment.

What you’ll bring

  • Experience: Proven analytical experience in planning, forecasting, or business operations within a technology or consulting environment.
  • Technical Skills: Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, or similar tools with the ability to tell a story with the data.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple teams and build productive working relationships
  • Attention to Detail: Detail-oriented with a proactive mindset and problem-solving attitude.
  • ‘Can do’ attitude: Lead by example and be prepared to go the extra mile when needed.
  • Highly organised: Have the drive to bring order and structure to the planning environment you’ll be working in.

We’re on the hunt for someone who’s not just great with data, but thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and always looking for smarter ways to work. If you’re a natural problem solver with a passion for making things better, we’d love to hear from you!
